Earning A Living Online: Getting Started on Triond

Today, I am going to give you tips on taking advantage of Triond to it's fullest potential.  There are three things in particular which will help you a lot.  First is checking your articles every day to keep up with comments.  Second is picking a subject to write about and sticking with it, and third is learning the basics of search engine optimization.  Let me go into detail about each of these subjects.


Checking Your Articles

I recommend two tools to help you with checking your articles on Triond.  The first tool is Mozilla Firefox web browser.  You can download this web browser for free at the link below:

The next tool is Multi Links for Mozilla Firefox.  Multi Links will allow you to click multiple links on your web browser, so if you have a lot of articles to check on Triond, you can click on all of them instead of one at a time, which will save you a lot of time going through this task.  You can download Multi Links at the link below.

Checking your articles everyday is important for two reasons.  First is Triond will pay you for reading your own articles every day.  If you have enough articles, you can earn a few cents every day by doing this small task.  I am currently earning 20-30 cents a day by reading my own articles which earns me $6 -$9/ month.  The second reason why you should check your articles every day is to respond back to your readers.  This small touch will start growing you a fan base as your readers will enjoy discussing your articles with you.


Picking A Subject

Picking a specific subject to talk about is very important to growing your fan base.  First, your fans will come to regard you as an expert on a subject, the more you write about it.  Last, you will start landing your articles at the top of the search engines, because search engines look for relevance to the the key words people enter into a search engine.  If you right all about health topics, and a person enters good health tips in a search engine, you are more likely to be at the top of that search if all your topics are about health.

I know your first objection is going to be, "What if I want to write about different subjects?".  Triond allows you to have multiple accounts.  If you want to write about another subject, just create another user profile, and you can write all about it with your new account.  Make sure you integrate this account with your Google Adsense account, and set it up with your PayPal account just like you did with your first Triond profile.


Search Engine Optimization Basics

Search engine optimization or SEO is important to learn regardless of how you choose to earn a living online.  SEO for Triond is simply writing your articles in such a way that it can be easily found on a search engine.  There are two basics you will need to know to do this.  First is using the right keywords.  Keywords are the words or phrases people enter into a search engine to look up a subject.  Make sure you write your article using a key word people are most likely to enter into a search engine.  There are hundreds of tools online you can use to pick the best keywords, but the easiest tool is common sense.  Think of how you would look up a subject in a search engine, and use that keyword in your article.  If you are writing about teeth whitening, then a good key word would be "How do I get my teeth whiter".  This phrase is your keyword, so you want to use it in your title, in your article, and in your tags at the end.  Use the key word frequently, but make sure it makes sense each time you use it.

The second basic of SEO is back links. A back link is a link to your article that is attached to some other article or website.  Every time a person shares your article with Facebook, Twitter, G+, or any other social network they create a back link to your article.  The more readers you can get to share your work online the more back links you will create for your article.
